About the IAPP

Fidel Hernandez is the Governance Risk and Compliance Technical Lead for Hyundai Autoever America, the technology arm of the giant Korean automaker in the U.S.

Prior to joining HAEA, Fidel served as the Independent Verification and Validation Manager for a half-billion-dollar technology migration project in the State of California. Fidel began his career at Fortune 500 companies in the automotive and consulting roles eventually moving to IT auditing and security roles, and has conducted business in 30 countries over the last three decades.

Fidel holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and a Certification in Economic Projects Appraisal from the Instituto Technologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM).
