About the IAPP

Randy Canis recently joined EquipmentShare as its Senior Counsel and Director of Intellectual Property where he leads the company’s intellectual property support. Prior to joining the company, he led and/or provided broad intellectual property, privacy, artificial intelligence, and product support at Express Scripts, and – after acquisition – Cigna. He also worked in private practice at leading general practice and boutique patent firms prior to working in-house. In addition, Randy has been an adjunct professor at Missouri University of Science & Technology for 25 years teaching engineering and business students courses including Patent Law, Privacy and Information Security Law, and Legal Environment.
