About the IAPP

Dominic Paulger serves as the Deputy Director of the Future of Privacy Forum's Singapore office, where he leads the team’s research and analysis on the privacy implications of new and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, across the Asia-Pacific region. Dominic's notable publications include a 2022 comparative study of legal basis for processing personal data across 14 APAC jurisdictions, a 2023 summary of developments in cross-border data transfer regulations in APAC, and a 2024 report on governance frameworks for generative AI in 5 key Asian markets. He is a graduate of Singapore Management University and King's College, London.
