Nicholas Bott, CIPP/US
Nick Bott is a clinical neuropsychologist by training and for the past decade have worked at the intersection of the research and development of digital and AI-enabled health products and the ethics of these emerging technologies on patients, healthcare providers and broader society. Within the academy he has been a member of the faculty at Stanford University’s School of Medicine teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in healthcare system delivery design and the role of bioethics within healthcare innovation. His academic work has been published in top-tier journals and has been featured in The New York Times, National Public Radio, and U.S. News and World Report. Within industry, He has held chief science and chief privacy officer roles, and his work has resulted in numerous patents, grants, and the successful investment and commercialization of digital biomarkers. At Takeda he has held multiple leadership roles, including head of bioethics and technology ethics, and most recently, head of digital ethics & compliance for global R&D. He continues to enjoy and expand his work at the intersection of ethics and privacy within emerging technologies and utilizes his experience and expertise to lead the development and deployment of ethics & compliance controls for emerging technologies within healthcare.
