About the IAPP

Temitayo Ogunmokun is an attorney and global privacy professional with experience working in the legal and privacy industries in Africa and Europe. He works as global HR privacy expert at Philips (Amsterdam) where he frontlines data protection in human resources in Philips markets across the globe. Ogunmokun holds an Advanced LLM in international and European law with specialization in data law from the Institute for European Studies in Brussels. He is jointly certified as lead auditor and lead implementer for the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System standard. He is also a Certified OneTrust GRC Professional and a research fellow at the African Academic Network on Internet Policy. His opinions on privacy and data protection have been published on a broad range of global platforms.
