International Association of Privacy Professionals Announces the 2015 Executive Committee

Lockheed Martin’s James Byrne appointed chairman

Portsmouth, N.H. – Feb. 11, 2015 – Today the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) announced new roles within the executive committee.

The executive committee changes include the appointment ofJames M. Byrne, CIPP/US, CIPP/G, CIPT, chief privacy officer and associate general counsel, Lockheed Martin Corporation, to serve as chairman. The 2015 IAPP Executive Committee includes:

  • James M. Byrne, CIPP/US, CIPP/G, CIPT,chairman of the IAPP, chief privacy officer and associate general counsel, Lockheed Martin Corporation
  • Hilary M. Wandall, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, vice chairman of the IAPP, AVP, compliance and chief privacy officer, Merck & Co., Inc.
  • JoAnn Stonier, treasurer of the IAPP, executive vice president, information governance and chief privacy officer, MasterCard Worldwide
  • Gabriela Krader, secretary of the IAPP, corporate data protection officer, Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL), representative at Confederation of European Data Protection Organisations (CEDPO), German Association for Data Protection (GDD) and Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL)
  • Scott Taylor, CIPP/US, past chairman of the IAPP, vice president and chief privacy officer, Hewlett-Packard Company
  • J. Trevor Hughes, CIPP, president and CEO of the IAPP
