The IAPP presents an update on the EU Artificial Intelligence Act. Proposed by the European Commission in April 2021, the AI Act has been fiercely debated ever since. The European Parliament will formalize its version in June, opening the way for trilogue negotiations with member states and the European Commission to finalize the law.
