Global Privacy Lead

Lanah Kammourieh Donnelly is Global Head of Ads Ecosystems in Google’s public policy team. She leads a team that works to foster understanding of Google's advertising business and the ads-funded open Internet, and is responsible for developing public policy strategy on a range of ads ecosystem issues, including the incorporation of generative AI in online advertising.



Previously, she led Google's public policy strategy on a broad range of privacy and data governance issues, including the right to be forgotten, GDPR implementation, and children’s privacy. Before joining Google, she worked as a privacy lawyer, and prior to that as a broadcast journalist.



Lanah is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris (Master of Political Science), Columbia University (Master of International Affairs), and Yale Law School (LL.M., Fulbright scholar). She is admitted as an attorney at the New York State Bar.
