About the IAPP

Johan is the Global Head of Digital Health and Innovation Policy in Roche Diagnostics. Previous to Roche, Johan was Head of Software and AI at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), leading work on the regulation of software as a medical device for the UK and coauthoring Good Machine Learning Practice for Medical Device Development. Johan is also an Honorary Associate Professor at the College of Medical and Dental Sciences, University of Birmingham and a By-Fellow with Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge.
