Michal Nulíček focuses on Intellectual Property and IT law, data protection and cybersecurity, as well as on competition law and regulatory. Michal has almost 20 years of experience in providing legal advisory in data and privacy protection. He has significant experience in wider commercial and also in corporate law. Michal is the leading author of the first Czech Commentary on the GDPR (Wolters Kluwer, 06/2017). Michal is a member of IAPP, the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E).



Before joining ROWAN LEGAL, Michal Nulíček worked for 10 years as a senior lawyer at Hogan Lovells. Michal started his privacy and data protection career there and participated in several cross-border projects that included the auditing of controllers, drafting and reviewing of privacy policies, standard clauses and other documents, advisory and representation of international clients before the Czech Data Protection Office, advising on international transfers, and many other services.
