Global Chief Privacy Officer

Lieke Jetten is a leader heading the Group Privacy Office in Verisure: a leading provider of professionally monitored alarms for residential households and small businesses, reporting to the Group CLO. She is responsible for leading the Group’s privacy programs and related initiatives. She manages a team of direct reports with the opportunity to grow a strong and high-impact Group Privacy team and guides the strategy, priorities and work of a network of privacy professionals across the Group. Critical and strategic, the role has an impact at both Group and country level, working closely with the business leaders, including Group Management Team members, the entire Legal team and other Group functions, including IT, Innovation / R&D, Marketing, Customer Care, Operations and HR.

Prior to joining Verisure, she was the Global Chief Privacy Officer and Group DPO at Signify (formerly Philips Lighting), market leader in Lighting. There, she headed the Global Central Privacy Office in Signify. With a team of direct reports and privacy contact points across the organization, she was responsible for the strategy, governance, and implementation of Signify’s privacy program. Prior to joining Signify, Lieke served as the Global Director Privacy & Data Protection in Stryker, a Fortune 500 Medical Technology company. With over 13 years of experience, including a background in privacy consulting, serving clients in the public and private sector and across a range of industries, Lieke is a well-rounded privacy professional, able to consider privacy & data protection from a legal, business and ethical angle. She is a recurring speaker at events, webinars and roundtables and an active member of the privacy community.
