About the IAPP

Dorota Kosela is the EMEA Counsel and DPO at online identity verification provider Jumio. In addition to a double MA in Law & Sociology she holds an LL.M. in Law, Science and Technology from Stanford Law School. She advises on a wide range of contractual and regulatory issues involving technology and privacy.

 

In her career, she has advised clients on international data flows, obligations of telecommunication operators to the law enforcement authorities, processing of biometric data, conducted data protection audits and due diligence reviews in M&A transactions. She is a keen mentor and has been advising and mentoring technology-based start-ups from Central and Eastern Europe.
