About the IAPP

Chantal Vets is Sr. Legal Program Director, Digital Regulations at Medtronic. In this role, she has global responsibility for digital regulations, navigating the shifting regulatory landscapes for the Medtronic digital health portfolio. This involves the monitoring of new or modified digital and AI laws and regulations, assessing the impact to business models, identifying advocacy initiatives, and driving appropriate implementation activities. In her role, Chantal Vets is a key partner in building and implementing Medtronic’s AI governance model. Finally, Chantal Vets is very active in external digital health policy, holding leadership roles in key trade associations.
