Ten U.S. states have either adopted or fully passed comprehensive privacy legislation, including five states joining the fray this year. Many more states have privacy laws in the works. Privacy professionals have a lot to keep track of as enforcement dates loom and the state of U.S. state privacy law becomes more complex.
