London calling: Digital regulation and AI governance
Original broadcast date: 31 Aug. 2023
The U.K. Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum brings together four U.K. regulators — the Competition and Markets Authority, the Information Commissioner's Office, the Office of Communications and the Financial Conduct Authority. It was established to deliver a coherent approach to digital regulation and to ensure a greater level of cooperation given the unique challenges posed by the regulation of online platforms. It has been particularly active on artificial intelligence governance in the run up to the U.K.'s AI Safety Summit later this year, and has also issued guidance across the spectrum of digital regulation, such as age-assurance technologies.
Join the IAPP's Joe Jones in conversation with the new and first CEO of the DRCF, Kate Jones, and ICO Executive Director of Regulatory Risk Stephen Almond, to learn about the work and priorities of the DRCF on AI governance and beyond. Watch the full recording on LinkedIn.
