Maria Khan, CIPP/E, CIPM
Maria Khan works as a data privacy legal analyst at SECURITI.ai. She is responsible for analyzing and advising on global legal developments in the data privacy and data protection space.
Maria earned her Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Michigan Law School for which she received the prestigious Michigan Grotius Fellowship. During her LL.M, her interest areas included addressing human rights abuses in global supply chains and environmental justice. She has also worked as an attorney in Pakistan, advising businesses on compliance with employment, consumer protection, and environmental laws. Maria was also part of the Business and Human Rights program of the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights in Berlin, where she assisted with strategic litigations against transnational corporations in the textile supply chain of the Global South in connection with human rights violations.
