Original broadcast date: 12 Oct. 2023
The U.K.-U.S. Data Bridge is due to enter into force 12 Oct. It will mean U.K. organizations can freely and safely transfer personal data to U.S. organizations certified to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The Data Bridge forms part of the deliverables listed in the Atlantic Declaration, agreed to by U.S. President Joe Biden and U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in June, and comes ahead of the U.K. AI Safety Summit in November. In this LinkedIn Live we hear from senior U.K. and U.S. officials on what the Data Bridge means and what is next, including with the Global Cross-Border Privacy Rules Forum.
