Thank you for contributing to the IAPP Privacy. Security. Risk. 2023 conference. To help ensure the success of your session, please see the important information below:

Laura Giannotti

Laura Giannotti, Programming & Speaker Coordinator, will be your main contact at the IAPP during the event life cycle. Please reach out to Laura if you have any questions.

Speaker registration: You will automatically be awarded a complimentary pass to the event and registered as a speaker by IAPP staff. Conference pass is eligible for Wednesday’s Welcome Reception on 4 October and all activities on the agenda Thursday and Friday, 5-6 October. If you are speaking on a workshop, your pass will also include your workshop. If you would like to add a training or workshop to your registration (additional cost), please contact speaker coordinator Laura Giannotti at lgiannotti@iapp.org.

Dietary accommodations: Should you require a special diet please contact speaker coordinator Laura Giannotti at lgiannotti@iapp.org to indicate your needs before 22 September.

Important deadlines

Due now: Check the online schedule to see your session date and time.

Due now: Send us your headshot and a brief biography if we do not already have this on file.

Due now: Listen to the speaker orientation recording, originally presented 8 August 2023. During this orientation we explain audience demographics, event logistics, and presentation tips. You will have received details to view recording from Laura.

18 August: Deadline for initial planning call with co-panelists and chairperson.

8 September: Send draft presentations to your chair/speaker coordinator.

22 September: Send final presentation to your chair/speaker coordinator.

Additional programming information
Need to make a change to speakers or presentation content? It is important to run it by us. Changes must be approved by IAPP to uphold the quality of our agenda and keep our publications current. Please contact Laura immediately if you need to make adjustments.

Speaker Workroom
This space is just for speakers — your home away from home. Pick up your thank-you gift here, print your presentation notes, meet the on-site speaker manager and get your questions answered in person, meet with your co-panelists for coffee and a snack, or just work quietly.

The workroom is available during the following hours:
Wednesday, 4 October, 07:30 – 17:30
Thursday, 5 October, 08:00 – 17:00
Friday, 6 October, 08:00 – 15:30
