Welcome, speakers

Thank you for contributing to the IAPP Data Protection Intensive: UK 2025. To help ensure the success of your session, please see these important instructions.

Marjorie Boyer, programming and speaker coordinator, will be your main contact at the IAPP during the event life cycle. Please reach out to Marjorie if you have any questions.

Speaker registration: You will automatically be awarded a complimentary pass to the event and registered as a speaker by IAPP staff. Your conference pass is eligible for all programming and events happening on Wednesday and Thursday, 12-13 March 2025. If you are speaking on a workshop, your pass will include your workshop.
If you would like to add a pre-conference training or workshop to your registration (additional cost), please contact Marjorie Boyer at mboyer@iapp.org.

Dietary accommodations: Should you require a special diet, please contact speaker coordinator Marjorie Boyer at mboyer@iapp.org to indicate your needs before 10 February. Choices are: dairy-free, gluten-free, halal, kosher, vegan or vegetarian.

Speaker presentation template: All speakers using a presentation must download and use the IAPP Data Protection Intensive: UK 2025 presentation template.

 

Important deadlines

Due now: Send us your headshot and a brief biography if we do not already have this on file

14 January: Attend the live speaker orientation via Teams. Keep an eye on your email — you will receive an invitation with additional details from Marjorie soon.

17 January: Deadline for initial panel planning calls with your agenda chair.

31 January: Send draft presentations to your chair and speaker coordinator.

10 February: Deadline for dietary restrictions and A/V requests.

28 February: Final presentation due to your chair and speaker coordinator.

Additional programming information
Need to make a change to speakers or presentation content? It is important to run it by us. Changes must be approved by IAPP to uphold the quality of our agenda and keep our publications current. Contact Marjorie immediately if you need to make adjustments.

Speaker workroom

This space is just for speakers — your home away from home. Meet with your co-panelists, grab a coffee and a snack, or work quietly if that is what you need.

The workroom is available during the following hours in room "Engage":
Wednesday, 12 March, 08:30-17:00
Thursday, 13 March, 08:30-17:00
