Labhaoise Ni Fhaolain

Labhaoise Ní Fhaoláin is a PhD researcher at the School of Computer Science, University College Dublin, focusing on the governance and regulation of artificial intelligence. She previously practiced as a solicitor in Dublin and London. Labhaoise has contributed to AI governance on both national and European levels, including work with the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) and the Council of Europe Committee on Artificial Intelligence and her research has been published in legal and academic journals. She is a vice-chair of the Technology Committee of the Law Society of Ireland and is a member of the IT Committee of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE).
