Fabienne Tegeler

Fabienne Tegeler is Head of 'Liaison Office and Legal Affairs' at the BSI. She is responsible for National and International Relations, Strategic Approaches to Information Security, IT Security and Law and Legal Supervision of Administrative Procedures of BSI. In this capacity, Fabienne urges the establishment of a central office function for BSI at national level. Fabienne joined the BSI in 2012 as a political analyst in the International Team. From 2017 she established National Liaison Offices of BSI in Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Wiesbaden as Head of Unit. In June 2023 Fabienne was elected as the chairperson of the ENISA Management Board for the period of four years.
Prior to working for the BSI, Fabienne Tegeler served in the Hessian Ministry of the Interior and Sports, the Federal Statistical Office and the European Commission. She holds a MA in European Studies of the Philipps University of Marburg.
