About the IAPP

David Stevens is the Global Lead of AI Governance at PepsiCo, responsible for driving Responsible AI and risk management across the company’s global AI initiatives. Over the past two years, he has scaled AI Governance from a grassroots effort to a comprehensive global framework, leading policy development, process design, platform implementation, and stakeholder engagement.

Previously, David worked in Enterprise Data Strategy, focusing on enhancing PepsiCo’s Data and AI capabilities. With a diverse background spanning finance, commercial, and transformation roles, he takes a collaborative approach, bringing together stakeholders across the business to drive AI governance at scale.
