As Chief Product Officer, John works directly with the certification, training, events, member engagement and digital strategy teams at the IAPP. He is responsible for the performance, profitability and coordination of IAPP product offerings; ensuring the organization delivers the right product mix to define, grow and support the privacy profession globally.
John spent 15 years at American Express in finance, business development, new product development, and pricing strategy roles intent on driving topline and bottomline growth. Immediately prior to joining the IAPP, he spent 3 years at a behavioral sciences research company which measures how customers engage and ultimately self identify with brands. John holds a BA in International Business from James Madison University.
John and his family are dual citizens of the US and Australia and spend as much time as possible traveling the world and exploring new countries, cultures and cuisines.
