About the IAPP

Srikant is Senior Counsel – Privacy and Data Protection and leads the global privacy program at Vontier. Vontier is a mobility technology manufacturing company and operates with more than 8,800 team members in more than 150 locations on 6 continents of the world. Prior to joining Vontier, Srikant was in private practice and in addition to his privacy law experience also has experience in patent prosecution, trademark law, copyright law, trade secret law, technology transactions, corporate law, M&A diligence, and IP litigation support. 

Srikant is a certified Privacy Law Specialist, holding CIPM, CIPP/US, and CIPP/E certifications from the IAPP, and is also a registered patent attorney. He is involved in his local bar by serving on the advisory councils for Innovation, IP, and eCommerce law sections. He is also involved with the DEI community by serving as co-chair for his law school alumni DEI board as well as continuing to participate as an alumnus of the Leadership Council for Legal Diversity (“LCLD”). In his free time, he enjoys reading, photography, travel, working on his project vehicle, building computer systems, and designing and implementing A/V, IoT, and IT systems.
