Alona Kiriak
Alona is a privacy legal advisor with expertise in privacy, compliance, data protection, and intellectual property in international setting.
She currently serves as Legal Counsel, responsible for data protection at a global level for a pharmaceutical consultancy group. She established a privacy program and now focuses on managing processes related to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Among other areas, Alona’s work includes advising on drug safety automation initiatives and balancing the GDPR requirements with Good Pharmacovigilance Practice and Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
Alona holds an LLM degree in International Business Law from the Central European University in Budapest.
