Gretchen Tucker is a Senior Governance and Privacy Attorney at BeesMont Law Limited, a boutique commercial law firm in Hamilton, Bermuda.

A Bermuda and England & Wales (non-practicing) barrister, she provides advice and representation in connection with regulatory compliance, administrative decision-making, statutory interpretation, policy development and legal reform in connection with privacy, access to information and the use of employee and health information. She also supports clients and their interactions with Bermuda government watchdogs and regulators.

In January 2019, Ms. Tucker established a new standing sub-committee of the Bermuda Bar Council for the Advancement of Privacy Law and Appropriate Regulation of the Legal Industry (APLLI). Since the formation of APLLI, she has sat as the Chairperson of the sub-committee.

Ms. Tucker has recently become the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer for BeesMont Law Limited. This new role focuses on better identifying, promoting and enforcing business standards of equality, diversity and inclusion in select areas of firm operations, human resources and marketing. In this respect, she holds a 2020 certification from York University in Equality, Diversity & Inclusion: Cultural Competence Skills for Legal Professionals and the role benefits from her experience advising on privacy in the context of talent and vendor management and wider governance initiatives.

She regularly supports the development of privacy careers in Bermuda and participates in various privacy forums.
