Kaira Wells graduated from Goucher College in 2014, receiving a degree in biology. Before law school, she originally positioned herself to either pursue a career in medicine or attend graduate school for reproductive endocrinology. Presently, she is fascinated by the interaction between trademark law and social media as well as patent litigation surrounding genetically engineered entities.
In the workplace, Wells has had wonderful yet challenging experiences and been fortunate enough to work with a wide variety of different personality types, which she believes to be one of the best teaching experiences. Her goals moving forward are to understand the art behind litigation and, most importantly, to be in position where she can open the door and inspire other minority women who have a passion for science and law.
