Attorney Advisor

Michelle Ramsden is an Attorney-Advisor with the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Privacy and Civil Liberties. Previously, she was a Presidential Management Fellow and Privacy Compliance Specialist at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, where she served as the privacy lead for ICE Homeland Security Investigations and simultaneously led a team of federal fellows participating in an Office of Science and Technology Policy innovation initiative. Prior to federal service, Michelle provided pro bono representation to Atlanta-area veterans seeking disability benefits and worked in both graduate and special education. She graduated from Emory University School of Law in 2014, where she studied International Humanitarian Law and Constitutional Rights.
