About the IAPP

Thea Sogenbits is Programme Director for ICT study programs at Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences.  Outside of her academic activities Thea is a senior partner at Smart Service Solutions Ltd. advising companies and institutions on privacy and cyber security related business process optimization and security and privacy by design solutions development. 

 

Thea has M.Sc. from Tallinn University in Interaction Design and Knowledge Environments and MBA in IT Management.

   

Her academic research focuses on business processes and models of cyber crime as well as early discovery of potential loopholes and mitigation of privacy and cyber crime related risks.   

Thea has worked at the IBM, represented European YWCA in various European institutions and participated in the development of various ICT and privacy related curricular and study programs from national curriculum to various graduate programs.
