About the IAPP

Becky started her career in data protection more than 5 years ago, working in both legal and operational roles, and holds the IAPP's CIPP/E and CIPM privacy certifications.

She has gained a wide range of experience in working for global organisations, including fintech leader Worldpay, different industries (Financial Services, Betting and Gaming), and various digital and retail channels for B2B and B2C companies.

In her current role as Data Privacy Manager for Entain (formerly GVC) she is particularly focused on managing and operationalising the global privacy programme, digitally transforming traditional privacy compliance into an operational centre of excellence.

Becky’s key responsibilities include leading Entain's training and awareness programme which promotes a privacy culture across the organisation. She also heads up a global team of privacy analysts, manages the deployment of privacy enhancing technologies and produces regular reports and gathers metrics for the privacy programme to senior stakeholders, including to the Group Board and Executive Committee. Becky also supports advising on new data driven projects and initiatives, particularly through Data Protection Impact Assessments helping embed privacy-by-design frameworks. She develops and reviews data privacy policies, procedures, and guidance for the business and operational teams.
