About the IAPP

Gabriella Khorasanee is head of privacy at Sephora in charge of creating an enterprise privacy program for Sephora USA and Canada, she also helped the company defend the first public CCPA enforcement action and negotiate a settlement with the Office of the California Attorney General.

Gabriella kicked off her law career as a clerk to Justice Nigro, of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and later was a litigation associate at Dewey Ballantine LLP. She then took a break from legal practice to start her own businesses in fashion, digital marketing, and online content creation. In 2017, she re-entered the legal field and became a member of the California Bar.

Gabriella received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and a JD from the Cardozo School of Law. She is certified as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM.
