About the IAPP

David has been working in technology since 1998, holding senior roles in data management, software design and development. For the past 10 years he has worked predominantly in privacy and data protection.

He is an IAPP Fellow of Privacy, CIPT, CIPM, CIPP/E and also CISA, CISM, CRISC and PRINCE2. He is the Chief Privacy Officer at N3  Results, Senior Privacy Advisor for the Internet of Things Security Institute and Senior Consultant at Ground Up Privacy.

David is an advocate for sharing experiences and knowledge around privacy to improve industry best practice and support the rights of individuals and communities. He focusses on the strategic design and effective implementation of privacy programs to serve as a foundation for developing trust and engagement with stakeholders.
