About the IAPP

As a Certified Information Privacy Professional - US (CIPP/US) and Certified Records Manager (CRM), Megan develops Information Protection privacy frameworks, assessments, reports, policies, procedures, awareness training, and supports CCPA efforts to ensure company employees are knowledgeable of how to appropriately safeguard, use, store, and retain information. 

Megan‘s article “Women in STEM and the Laws that Enabled Diverse Innovation” will be featured in Chapman Law Review’s Spring Journal in May 2020. Megan enlisted three co-authors to work with her on the research and interviewed two women, a Systems Engineer and a CIO, on their experiences. Megan’s IAPP presentation on “Women in Privacy” will be a continuation of this research focus exclusively on the Privacy profession.

In the professional community, Megan serves as the current President of the Orange County, CA chapter of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (OC-ARMA) and runs IAPP KnowledgeNets as one of four Chairpersons for the International Association of Privacy Professionals of Orange County, CA (IAPP-OC). Megan enjoys making connections and sharing ideas for the benefit of all information professionals.
