Oscar Montezuma
Oscar is an attorney with more than 10 years of national and international experience advising telecommunications, technology and digital enterprises, as well as experience in the public sector in the development of public policies related to telecommunications, information technology (ICT), and intellectual property regulation. Currently he is founding partner of Montezuma & Porto.
Oscar graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and holds an LLM from George Washington University. He has worked as regulatory in-house and external counsel in the telecommunications sector, served as consultant to the Colombian Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications and member of the Copyright Commission of INDECOPI in Peru. Oscar has extensive experience in regulatory matters related to telecommunications and technology law including cybersecurity and data protection. He has an active academic track record, has published different academic papers and is regularly consulted by local media on his areas of expertise.
