About the IAPP

Jim is the Associate Counsel - Privacy & Compliance at Margaritaville Enterprises where he leads the global development and operation of Margaritaville's privacy program as well as general compliance initiatives. He earned his B.S. in Finance from Florida State University and his Law Degree from DePaul University. Prior to this role, Jim worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he advised Fortune 100 companies on various data privacy and cybersecurity issues including GDPR and CCPA. Jim recently authored the article, “Turning Consumer Privacy Expectations Into Trust” for the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Docket magazine. Jim is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta’s LEAD Class of 2018 and serves as the Chair of the Atlanta Fire & Rescue Foundation’s Young Executives Board as well as on the board of directors at the Children’s Development Academy in Roswell. He holds the IAPP’s CIPP/US Certification.
