About the IAPP

Caroline is the founder and TwoBlackLabs’ Principal Consultant. Caroline is a Privacy and Security Risk professional with in excess of 10 years related experience in both the public and private sectors. She is an IAPP qualified Fellow of Information Privacy. Caroline specialises in providing both privacy and data protection consultancy. She is one of New Zealand’s leading expert in the European Union's General Data Protect Regulation (GDPR).

Caroline holds a 1st class honours, Batchelor’s degree in BSC Computer Software Theory from the University of Bath as well as IAPP’s Certified Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) certifications. Caroline also holds the IAPP Fellow in Information Privacy (FIP).

She is also a qualified PMI and Prince2 project manager. This allows her to not only provide advice on ‘what’ you should do but also ‘how’ you can go about implementing the recommendations in your organisation.

Originating from the UK, Caroline is an adopted Kiwi, having lived in New Zealand since 2004.
