Seth Litwack, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, is a regulatory consultant at Duff & Phelps, focusing on data privacy, cybersecurity, and blockchain technology. He is the author of an IAPP Tech Blog series exploring the potential uses of Blockchain technology in privacy. Seth is also the author of Bitcoin: Currency or Fool’s Gold?: A Comparative Analysis of the Legal Classification of Bitcoin, 29 Temp. Int'l & Comp. L.J. 309, 311 (Fall 2015) and co-author of The Curious Case of the Crypto Prefix, Wolters Kluwer's Banking and Financial Services Policy Report (Forthcoming April 2018).
Seth has been a blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiast since 2011 and is a member of the Accord Project, which develops technical standards for legal smart contracts. Seth is a Certified Bitcoin Professional and a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law and Binghamton University.
