About the IAPP

Since 2019, Lucia Semančínová has been one of the founding members of the Association for the Protection of Personal Data. In her legal practice, she specializes in the field of privacy protection and personal data protection. She heads the IT law and privacy protection department at the SEMANČÍN & PARTNERS law firm. Semančínová helps create complex compliance solutions for personal data protection, regularly represents clients in proceedings before the Office for Personal Data Protection and performs the function of responsible person. She also works as a lecturer and conducts trainings on the practical application of the GDPR and the Personal Data Protection Act. In her professional practice, in addition to personal data protection, Semančínová also specializes in competition law and environmental law.
