Rene Mendizabal has been a global privacy professional since 2013. A graduate of the LL.M. program in Privacy and Cybersecurity Law at Osgoode Hall Law School (2021), Rene currently serves as Privacy Lead at Walmart Canada.
Rene has served as Data Protection Officer, Privacy Counsel Privacy Researcher and Compliance Lead for global organizations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, the Philippines and the European Economic Area.
