About the IAPP

Andrea Carrera Mariscal is an Ecuadorian Lawyer specialized in the field of Business Law, dealing with e-commerce Law, Digital Law, Privacy and Data Protection Law. 

 

She is currently working at Orange S.A. as Privacy & Personal Data Protection Legal Counsel within Group's DPO & Security. 



Her practice focuses on all aspects of French and European Data Protection Laws: implementation of GDPR compliance programs (internal guidelines and procedures, record of processing, BCR, awareness sessions...), Data Protection & Security Governance, Due Diligence.



She also deals with Latin American, Asian and African Data Protection laws & regulations. 



Prior to joining Orange, she served in a Renault, Engie and Groupama as well as working as Intern at the French Data Protection Authority within the Europe and International Affairs Department.

Andrea holds a CIPM professional certification (IAPP) and a master’s degree in e-commerce law (Sorbonne) as well as a French DPO Certification (CNAM) and a master’s degree in Privacy and Personal Data Protection Management (ISEP).
