About the IAPP

Michele Ramsey is the Chief Privacy Officer of Corteva Agriscience, a publicly traded global agriculture company with over 21,000 employees and a presence in more than 140 countries.  She joined Corteva in September, 2018, in advance of the company’s successful spin from DowDupont on June 1, 2019.  As CPO, Michele is dedicated to developing and executing Corteva’s global privacy strategy and program in a way that maintains confidence and trust in its relationships and brands, and protects the privacy of its customers, employees and consumers. 

Ms. Ramsey has been a trusted advisor and legal counsel to business leaders for more than 20 years, partnering with them to facilitate business development while maintaining compliance and managing risk.  Prior to joining Corteva, she served as General Counsel, National Media and Marketing at Meredith Corporation, an industry leading digital media and marketing company, where she managed complex consumer data privacy initiatives, including the company’s GDPR implementation.

Michele received her BA in Economics, Magna Cum Laude, from Central College in Pella, Iowa and her J.D. with High Distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law.
