About the IAPP

Yusuf is the co-founder of the Turkish technology law initiative Statjus.com, an independent platform where law and technology professionals meet on inter-disciplinary ideas. He is also an associate lawyer at a top-tier law firm in Istanbul, where he acts for a range of clientele particularly in connection with data protection and privacy compliance. His passion for and background in information technologies enable him to not only analyse the matters from a legal perspective but also provide insight based on technical understanding.

 

In his leisure time, he can be found coding in Python, playing and listening to guitar, or reading Schopenhauer.
