Ariel Brio, CIPP/C, CIPP/US
Ariel Brio is privacy and data counsel at Sony PlayStation in San Mateo, CA. Prior to joining Sony, Mr. Brio was a privacy attorney with a law firm in Washington, DC. Mr. Brio also helped Rosetta Stone manage its global privacy compliance while serving in the Office of General Counsel as an academic legal extern. Previously, Mr. Brio was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton where he helped clients with data analysis, cybersecurity, information technology, network analysis, R&D management, and personnel strategy issues. Before joining Booz Allen, Mr. Brio was an analyst for the United States Department of Defense and an analyst in the Office of Cyberinfrastructure of the National Science Foundation.
Mr. Brio earned his bachelor and master degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and his law degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law.
