About the IAPP

Simon Davies has worked in privacy and data protecion for thirty years and was the first advocate to campaign at the global level. He has founded many organizations and initiatives, including Privacy International and the Big Brother Awards. Throughout his career Simon has been appointed to numerous universities, including the London School of Economics and George Washington University and has also advised many of the world’s largest tech and comms corporations.
