About the IAPP

Michael Adler is Senior Director, Associate General Counsel; Head of Global Data Privacy at Highspot. Prior to joining Highspot, Michael has served the Senior Corporate Counsel for eCommerce & Marketing at Autodesk and as the Global Corporate eCounsel for Amazon’s gift card business. Before going in-house, his private practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance, and capital markets at Kirkland & Ellis following a clerkship with the Honorable Thomas A. Wiseman in the Middle District of Tennessee.

Michael received his BA in International Relations from Michigan State University (James Madison College), MPA in National Security Studies from George Washington University (SBPM & Elliott School), JD from Vanderbilt University, with a Certificate in Law and Business, and Masters from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge (King's College). Prior to attending law school, Michael served as a Senior Intelligence Officer with the Defense Intelligence Agency.
