Simon Hall, CIPP/E, CIPM, FIP
In 2007, Simon became IBM’s first Data Privacy Officer for UK & Ireland and Chair of the EMEA Privacy Review Board. In 2011 he joined Concentium, where he specialised in Privacy risk and assurance and the design of Privacy Management Frameworks, developing policies, processes and training courses for a number of global clients. He continued this work after Concentium was acquired by KPMG, before joining Asda-Walmart in 2015, where he designed the global Privacy Programme and developed Asda’s PIA and Inventory tool and its online Privacy Centre. Following an interim role as Group DPO for the Lowell Group, he is now a freelance privacy consultant working with global clients and tech start-ups.
Simon is a Fellow of Information Privacy (IAPP) and a non-practising Barrister.
