About the IAPP

Ralph's experience includes information security, business continuity, data protection, PCI DSS, risk management, quality assurance and associated disciplines. Before joining AvePoint as EMEA Compliance Specialist, he has worked for the Police, Royal Signals, British Standards, QinetiQ, URM, Control Risks and IT Governance.



For the last 15 years, he has been an auditor, trainer, consultant and evangelist in information governance and privacy standards. By managing a professional service practice he has been involved in the end to end customer experience from presales, sales, proposals and tenders, through to delivery and customer relationship management.



By working in multiple industry sectors, with sizes ranging from "3 men in a shed" to large multinationals, and favouring a knowledge transfer approach to facilitate compliance at all levels of an organisation, Ralph continues to be a fiercely passionate and enthusiastic advocate of personal privacy, accessibility and security.
