Genna Goldner is a Senior Privacy Consultant with MBL Technologies, Inc., a D.C. based consulting firm specializing in federal and commercial privacy, cybersecurity, and business resilience programs and services.  An attorney by trade, Genna’s focus is in interpreting and implementing complex regulatory frameworks, privacy program development/management, and incident response.  Prior to MBL, Genna served as the Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs for the National Confectioners Association, where she provided legal and regulatory guidance on a broad array of matters ranging from food safety to product advertising to over 350 member companies in the $35 billion dollar confectionary industry. Genna began her career as the Privacy Officer and Associate Counsel for a start-up, non-profit health insurance company where she built and ran the Privacy and Breach programs along with the vendor management program.

 

Genna holds a J.D. from Quinnipiac University with a concentration in Health Law and a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Public Health from Muhlenberg College.  She is an active member of the Connecticut Bar.
