About the IAPP

Daragh O Brien is MD of Castlebridge Associates (www.castlebridge.ie), one of Ireland's leading Data Protection and Data Governance training and consulting companies. He holds a degree in Business and Law from UCD. Daragh is a Fellow of the Irish Computer Society, and serves as Global Data Privacy Advisor to DAMA International (www.dama.org), and has served as a Director of the IAIDQ (www.iaidq.org) and is an active contributor to the Innovation Value Institute (www.ivi.ie) on Enterprise Information Management.





Daragh helped design of the Irish Law Society's Certificate in Data Protection Practice and lectures on that course, as well as providing in-house and public training and consulting supports for a range of clients in the Public and Private Sector in Ireland and elsewhere. He has written or contributed to a number of books and is a regular contributor to international industry publications and popular media commentator. He will be presenting on the interplay on Data Governance, Information Quality, and Data Protection at three major conferences in Europe this Autumn.
