Frances Kleckley is the director of Privacy Policy and Compliance for the Internal Revenue Service. The IRS is one of the world's most efficient tax administrators. In fiscal year 2015, the IRS collected almost $3.3 trillion in revenue and processed almost 240 million tax returns.
Kleckley is responsible for ensuring the privacy and protection of taxpayer and employee information, responding to the loss of Personally Identifiable Information and potential identity theft, conducting Privacy Impact Assessments and the development privacy training for employees and contractors. With over 30 years of government experience she brings a unique perspective to the discipline of privacy policy.
